5" Remodel Airtight Housing for Insulated Ceilings

RF601ICAT

Description

The RF601ICAT is a high wattage 6" aperture AIR-TIGHT line voltage dual label housing for incandescent lamps. The RF601ICAT is designed for insulated ceilings and can be in direct contact with ceiling insulation. The RF601ICAT offers a wide choice of trim types including reflector, wall wash, retractable and lensed trims.

Housing

Aluminum housing. 7-1/2" height allows use in 2" x 8"joist construction. Housing adjusts for ceilings up to 1-1/4" thick.

Socket

· Medium base porcelain with nickel-plated copper screw shell.

· Snaps into bracket for consistent lamp positioning.

· Adjustable socket height to accommodate various lamp sizes.

Lamp

· One medium base R20, PAR20, BR30, PAR30, BR40, PAR38, or A19 lamp.

· Lamp ratings based on selected trim.

Thermal Protector

Self resetting thermal protector in transformer deactivates fixture if overheating occurs due to improper lamping or misapplied insulation.
